Duo linguo or dual language ability.What does it hold for us to grow?
They say language is an identity from where a person belongs to. To maintain this identity our elders and now we as elders make sure that we or our children utter proper words, use their language properly and even teach them the words that are forgotten.
On the other hand foreign languages have made their mark and have conquered minds, hearts and the industries. Here lies the great conflict between languages. The barriers are so strong and seem unbreakable. The reason behind this is though SIMPLE:
HOLD ON & NOT LET GO.
If we hold on something for too long it will either break, split and eventually hurt us the most. Same is the case with language unadoptibility and denial to learn foreign language. The resistance has made things complicated. A vast majority is clinged to the national language while other majors are towards modern learning patterns and go along the new patterns the whole world is leading towards.
Our national scholars, thinkers and famous leaders were all from the school of thought from where the modren world concepts have emerged. Even the religion is not a barrier in exploring new heights or progression in terms of worldly success and achievements. It guides us to lead a balanced life style not hurting any side.
The problem is our failure to accept our weaknesses and faults. If we approve of them and learn to forgive ourselves and to adapt the prevailing methods and techniques in order to move further in life and to progress like other progressive nations in the world. National languages will never loose their identity if we use foreign language as a tool or key to open doors of many achievements in the world.
National languages will always be like crowns of queen’s, true identities of nations. They can never be replaced. We have to put our trust in gaining the knowledge of new era and preventing the history of previous learning as well in order to keep tracks to follow for our future generations. To make their lives and ways easier and simple.
I am a strong supporter of duolingo system, its patterns and applications. This is the ONLY way to achieve our worldly goals and desires. We will be in dark dungeon and blind if we won’t rise up and get what we want to have in this life.
No religion or ethical teachings have taught us to be rigid or indifferent to new methodologies of life if they do not coincide with the morality and adaptabilities of prevailing times.
I hope that I am successful enough to convey my message about acceptance and tolerance for foriengers, foreign languages and patterns. Everyone likes bouquets of variety of flowers, why not make mind sets like this,why not take change as a bouquet of colourful flowers?
