When we visit a particular office for a job interview or for any documentation process or even at a shop for shopping :the first thing that catches our eyes is the ambiance, then the warm reception of the hosts present.
We might not be buy anything, maybe our interview didn’t succeed, we couldn’t get our documentation process done:but the thing that will stick to our mind and heart will be the professional behaviour you get.
Be it a small tuck shop or a large convenience store, we surely visit it again & again if we are regarded there with just a warm welcoming smile & hospitable environment. It won’t cost them anything but will surely make a large impact on the profitability of businesses they are in.
It’s very important to have a professional approach as it draws a very fine line between cultured and hasty behaviour. You might get things done haphazardly, earn more, but it won’t leave an impact in the longer run. What stays longer is the behaviour one gets along with the visual aids used to impress the clients, customers or hosts in dealing with different matters.
Professionalism is to possessed by the lowest heirarchy (the guard) till top heirarchy (the CEO or the owner of a corporation, entrepreneur, shop or that of a house. It shows the basic lessons of etiquettes of equity, respect, understanding & clarity of mind. One should feel like a king or prince. Ironically it should not be compared or confused with behaviours of maids or butlers of army btalions!!! They are taught to serve their masters but on the other hand these are behaviourial patterns taught to us in our Holy Books of all religions. The sets of commandments/orders are the same.
When we forget the teachings, the society collapses and chaos prevail as we witness around us with great sadness and broken heart.
Professional attitudes not only gives honour to the other but the one possessing this quality is honoring him/herself as well by showing the best of him/herself to other. It should not be manipulated with hypocrisy though!!
It’s a very top noch ability to be acquired and one must make sure to give special workshops if needed to ensure the best standards of quality.
